About the artist

Capturing the vibrant colors and essence of the people in my life or those I come across on my journey is what drives me as an artist.  The creativity begins when by chance I come upon indigenous dancers performing at the plaza of an ancient city, when I visit Mexico and watch vendors as they hustle on the beach, when I run to snap a shot of a fisherman with his daily catches the shores of Vallarta, or here at home when a local ballet folklorico group is performing at a local sporting event.  It’s the complete immersion into the moment that gets me excited, fills my heart and fuels my imagination and creativity.  

Over the last 10+ years I have studied under various renowned teachers who together with the great 19th &20th century impressionist/post-impressionist painters have influenced my style. As I continue to grow, I want to share my journey with you. Making fine art accessible to everyone to enjoy is my mission.  I hope to continue this art journey so that all people can proudly see and own art that reflects their faces and cultural traditions.
